Classroom Rules

• Follow directions the first time they are given to you
• Raise your hand and wait patiently to be called on
• Wait for your turn, without interrupting, when someone else is talking
• Keep your hands, feet and objects to yourself
• Treat others with the same respect you would want in return
  
  *Be responsible for yourself, your actions and your classroom
  community*
  
  If You Choose to Break a Rule

• First time: A reminder/warning
• Second Time: 5 minutes off recess
• Third Time: 10 minutes off recess
• Fourth Time: Loss of recess; complete an action plan
• Severe Disruptions: Loss of field trip/party privileges/sent to the office; phone call home
  
  Rewards
  Individual:
  • Praise
  • Positive notes/call home
  • Tickets (raffle drawing every Friday)
  • Certificate-Award
  •  Lunch with teacher
  • Homework passes
  
  Whole Class:
  • Marble Jar (Students will earn a party of their choice
    when they reach 50 marbles)
